Be Prepared For What You Ask For.

I have a confession to make: I’ve been wanting it to feel like fall for weeks, and now that it does, I’m not ready. I was legit mad at my meteorologist every time he told me the temperatures would be upwards of 85 degrees–in October. How dare the sun continue to bake us almost a month into fall? I cursed the humid Atlanta air with deep contempt and longed for the cool days of fall. Well, now they’re here and I’m cold.

It came too quick, it was hot like three days ago and now we’re getting lows in the 40s. Why must Atlanta play these games? But on a serious note, how do I have the audacity to want fall to come, but when it does, be unprepared for its arrival and say it came too soon? You think God thinks about this kind of stuff when he’s getting ready to bless us? You think He’s like, “Ash can’t handle a man, that chile ain’t even ready for fall.” Ha!

So here’s your tip for the day: be prepared for what you ask for, you never know when it’s coming.

On the bright side, it’s Uggs and baggy sweatshirts with no bra season. Cheers!
