Daylight Saving Time.

Daylight saving time is a curious thing. I don’t understand it and don’t care enough to google it. I know it has to do with the amount of sunlight we get during the day and something with science; but the most important part to me is the extra hour of sleep, even if it’s just for one day.

As if on cue, today was the first time I noticed the autumn leaves falling. Had they been falling for weeks right under my nose? It’s possible, we’ve been in fall since September, but Atlanta has felt like early summer, since the end of summer. I know I said I wasn’t ready for fall a few week ago, but I think it’s time now. Sometimes we don’t understand why things have to change, à la daylight saving time, but we trust that it’s for the best. It’s kinda like when God swifts something suddenly, we don’t understand why the thing had to happen, but if we have a relationship with Him, we trust it’s for the best.
