So my birthday festivities are officially starting tonight. My best friends decided to plan the weekend for me, which says a lot about my trust in them, because I’m crazy and like to plan every detail of my birthday. I have no idea what they’ve planned and surprisingly I’m OK with that.
What’s more surprising is the fact that we’re all friends after 10 years of ups and downs. We’ve been through a lot and in an effort to not divulge too many details, I’ll just say I don’t think many people would have been able to go through what we have and still be in the same room, much less best friends. That’s the real surprise. My friendships have taught me so much about people, forgiveness and grace. I’m grateful for these two beautiful people who have given me so much. Y’all the real MVPs.
