I’m almost ashamed to admit that watching “Maury” is a source of great entertainment for me and I’m excited when I’m able to catch it. Today’s show followed the usual premise: a woman accused her husband of cheating, he denied it– big surprise there. What was kind of different with this couple was that they were on the show six months ago, where a lie detector determined he was cheating on her. She took him back, but lo and behold, after a short time of doing right, his suspicious habits resurfaced. Again, big surprise there.
So now they’re back on the show, acting a fool, accusations are flying and emotions are high. Can you guess what the outcome was? Big surprise here– he was cheating again. What was more shocking to me is that the wife was shocked chile. She couldn’t believe it, I wasn’t in the relationship and I saw it coming way before Maury read the results.
Isn’t it funny that sometimes we’re so wrapped up in a situation that we can’t see it’s bad for us? People who aren’t in it have the clarity and foresight to predict things aren’t going to end well, but sometimes we consciously choose to ignore common sense. It’s sad really. So don’t be like a Maury guest, open your eyes and choose to see the difficult situation for what it is.
