I Hate When Things Don’t Start on Time.

The college students I work with really make me feel old sometimes, which is weird because I’m not that much older than they are. Less than two weeks ago, I was in my 20’s like most of them. The amount of growing an individual goes through in the last 8 years of their 20’s is pretty amazing. You go from essentially being carefree at the top of the decade to working a job, living on your own and maybe even having a family at the end of it. Life comes at us fast, right?

Anyway, today’s I-feel-old moment is brought to you by the gray hair that had a staring contest with me this afternoon and these late students. They had an event scheduled tonight at 8 p.m., why is it currently 8:12 p.m., the DJ is still setting up, and the function hasn’t started? There are also only six people here, but no one seems flustered about that because C.P. Time. I was rarely bothered before about things not starting on time, but I just can’t deal with it anymore– like an old person. I’m sure it’ll get worse as I get older. Fun.
