So I’m at my (hopefully) new doctor’s office right now and so far, so good. The nurse who took my vitals was really nice and the office area was modern and clean. But, the reason I’m writing this in the doctor’s office is because I’ve been waiting on her for almost 20 minutes now. I know you can’t really cut a patient off if the appointment is taking longer than expected, but I hate waiting for doctors or hair stylists for that matter.
They told me to fast for four hours before my appointment because they were going to take blood and other tests. That would have been OK if my appointment was first thing in the morning, or just anytime in the morning. My appointment was at 2 o’clock 🙄. All I’ve eaten today was an annoying small apple and three pineapple cubes. All I can’t think about is the Doritos and mini Snickers bar I packed in my bag to hold me over until I reach Chick-Fil-A after I leave here.
Now it’s 10 minutes to 3:00 p.m., still no doctor. I don’t think imma make it. OK, she just walked in. BRB.
