Work.

I expect this year will be a great one for me, but I expect to work hard. Not to be super deep, but just before the new year began I heard God tell me that I needed to work hard this year to see something new and exciting happen. I almost didn’t know it was Him talking to me though. When He talks to me, the voice in my head sounds like me–like my own thoughts, but I just know it’s not. It’s hard to explain, so hopefully He’s talked to you too and you know what I mean.

It’s a new year and people usually think about all the things about themselves they plan to change. We think about how lit things will be once we make those changes, but our progress is often slowed down or stopped completely when things get hard. We often underestimate how hard we’ll have to work and how long the progress will take. So as you make your declarations about this year, remember you gon’ have to work for them chile!
